This course is for non-healthcare providers who want to learn CPR and do not need a certification card. It includes adult, child, and infant CPR, choking interventions, and an introduction to AED use. Skills practice time is included. There is no skills or written testing. There is a minimum 6 student requirement. If less than 6 students are registered, the class will be cancelled. This course format is the same for initial and renewing participants . An American Heart Association BLS Provider 2-year certification card will be issued upon successful completion of this course. Those arriving more than 10 minutes after the start time for the class, WILL NOT be allowed entry into the class. A current BLS Provider Certification is REQUIRED to be eligible for this course. The BLS Renewal Course is a video-based, instructor led course that features accelerated content. It allows for time efficiency while teaching both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills. An American Heart Association BLS Provider 2 year certification card will be issued upon successful completion of this course. Entry will not be allowed after the start time of the class. No exceptions.
