Class Schedule Class Schedule Click on a class below to begin the enrollment process: BLS Provider The American Heart Association BLS provider course is for first time BLS certifications for healthcare providers or for providers whose AHA BLS certification has expired. The course will cover all content with review and practice before testing. A 2020 edition AHA BLS provider manual is required for the class. An American Heart Association BLS Provider 2-year certification card will be issued upon successful completion of this course via eCard. Late arrivals to class will not be able to join the class in session and will need to reschedule. Covid precautions are being followed and classes are in person only. Arrival Screening is required prior to entry into class. A current BLS Provider Certification is REQUIRED to be eligible for this course. The Children’s Mercy grace period has ended and all participants must have a current certification or they will be cancelled from the course. The 2020 BLS Renewal Course is a video-based, instructor led course that features accelerated content. It allows for time efficiency while teaching both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills with the newest 2020 Resuscitation Science from the American Heart Association. An American Heart Association 2020 BLS Provider 2 year certification card will be issued upon successful completion of this course as an eCard. Student must arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete arrival screening and be assigned a room for class. Any late arrivals WILL NOT be allowed entry into the class.
